How do i breed my single female pigeon so she lays eggs here instead of going off with her new husband?????
Well, I raise pigeons and all I can tell you is that the pigeon needs food (wild bird seed mixed with crushed corn is what I use), water, and grit. Grit is what pigeons use to help then digest food. Provide these things and it should do well. as for teaching it to fly, breed, "talk" and hunt, it will learn these things on it's own. it is shy around the other pigeons because it is so young. over time, it will establish it's own status within the flock of pigeons. if you want to keep her close to where you are, give it a bird house... it might choose to nest there. the most effective way to keep it form wandering off is to feed it. animals flock to where the food is...
