I need help finding a name of a poem/short story I read. I can't remember the name or if it is a poem or story?

There was a short story or maybe a poem I had once read but I can't seem to recall it, and I think it might help in a paper I'm doing on Hamlet. All I remember is its about a man/boy who goes for dinner and throughout the dinner is waiting for death or he believes he is eating with death and is the only one who can see him. Something along those lines, and in the end the man dies and everyone at the diner can see death, but I think they brush it off. Sorry If I can't be much help, I read it probably close to 5-6 years ago. Thanks
