Homemade wet cat food?

I'm looking for ways/ideas to make homemade wet cat food. I don't want to give my kitten anything that could make her sick. She is only five months old and very picky about what she eats. Because I have to start cutting back with how much money I spend I can now only get her dry food. At the moment I'm just trying things like putting the dry cat food into chicken broth. Also ive taken chicken and rice mixed it with dry food. All ideas or ways will be well thanked
