How to change a serpentine belt on a 2000 ford f 150 6 cyl. 4.2?

I know there is a tensioner but is it spring loaded? if not how do u get it to loosen so that u can? This one seems to be froze up or something and i dont want to brake the bolt if its just cause im not doing something wright
