What does my dream mean? based in real life. . :(?

okay it was about my childhood best mate from primary school * i am now 18 * and in the dream, i saw him down the road in my town * perfect scene, i mean. nothing was different* and he had bruises all over him, i asked what happened? he was talking about his dad beating him and choking him. then the images came into my dream so i was in a dark spooky house being strangled , i said stop , and i felt like i was gonna throw up, then i was AWAKE but couldnt move, felt like a tiny siezure for 3 minutes, just endless shaking, i had a strange feeling in my throat and tongue. and i felt i had hands around my throat. i couldnt call out.
