Does anybody have a suggestion for me and a new rabbit?

Im thinking of getting a rabbit. i currently have one small maltese(dog) and two full grown chickens. None of these animals ever show any interest in the harm of other species. The bunny will live outside in a solid hutch with plenty of room to run in my yard. I would love to take it on walks too. I have heard that tractor supply rabbits are good first rabbits that don't cost a lot, but aren't very tame when you first get them. This isn't a problem for me though. I'm in school from 8:00am to 3:00pm. I feel like I'm ready for a new rabbit but I would love to hear suggestions and do's and don'ts. If anyone has something to say please say it. I want the best for any future rabbit I may get. Also I live in a place that's very hot (100-111 f) if anyone has any suggestions on how to keep a rabbit cool or if you think this may be a problem please let me know. the bunny would be in a shaded area and its cool and night and mild/cold in the winter. thank you !:)
