My toddler says like 5 words?

Get him evaluated be Early Intervention (birth to 3) program. My son's speech is delayed but he gets speech therapy twice a week through Early Intervention and is going to be starting preschool in January for a half day everyday and then he'll be getting speech therapy everyday. I have heard that a child is supposed to have 50 words by age 2, so yes your son is delayed.
