I am clified as a profoundly gifted teenager, but have lost most of my natural curiosity.?

As a younger child, I loved to explore mental concepts and to observe my surroundings. School has caused a burnout for me, however, and I am often depressed and even "incapable" of comprehending things that I once could grasp easily, or unable to easily master material and to think creatively. At the height of the burnout, I also constructed various mental traps to attack the learning and enjoyment of factual information. Later, I attempted to arouse some innate curiosity by indulging in pleasurable activities, but I can't seem to maintain interest for long. Does anyone have the experience to help me battle my insipidity?
